The Queens, in this instance, came from Virginia and migrated to West Virginia. My Grandpa, James A. Queen, married Nancy Melissa Duty, my Grandma, (Jim & Nannie as they were called by family), as his second wife. They had 12 children together, of which my Mom is the baby. Nancy's last name was Davis for a time, however we believe she was born a Duty and certainly died a Duty. This family started out near Salt Rock, WV, and our grandparents, James and Nancy, were living near Mercerville, OH when they died.
